The Sensory Integration Network UK and Ireland Ltd. is run by a VOLUNTARY group of dedicated practicing therapists who are committed to the promotion and development of sensory integration theory and practice.
The Membership benefits to you;
  • Reduced delegate fee for some seminars and conferences
  • Regular copies of informative magazine SensorNet
  • Free participation in regional groups with peers
  • Research grant
  • Up to date information on Sensory Integration theory and practice, research and efficacy of practice and evidence based practice (EBP)
  • Four accredited courses and training in Sensory Integration therapy
The SI Network do offer small research grants (up to £2000) these can be used for pump priming for applications for larger projects or to support small projects. [2008] To proceed with this, either a Study protocol (e.g COREC website) or full proposal is required which will then be taken forward to the SI Network Executive commiittee. This meets 4 times annually.
In order to continue our status as a not-for-profit organisation, we must provide training only to members. This allows us to keep our course fees at a minimum. It does mean that course participants must become members of the Network in their own names. This can be done on-line and costs £25 [€35] per annum.
