Course Booking Terms and Conditions

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before booking your place on a Sensory Integration Network course.

1 Booking process

To book a place on a SI Network training course, the online booking process must be completed for each applicant.

All course participants are required to be a current member of the SI Network.

It is your responsibility to check that you are eligible to attend the course. Some courses require particular qualifications and experience. If you do not meet the minimum requirements, your place may be withdrawn.

3 Cancellation and variation of events by the SI Network

The SI Network reserves the right to change advertised details of training events including course content, dates, time-table, venue and lecturers etc. If we have to cancel a course, we will aim to inform all participants at least two weeks before the course is due to take place or as soon as is reasonably possible.  We will reimburse all course fees paid, but we are unable to compensate for any other costs incurred, such as travel, flights and accommodation.

If we have to change the dates of a course, applicants may request a full refund of course fees if the new dates are not convenient.

4 Cancellation of bookings

Places on SI Network courses are limited. We therefore ask that you let us know as soon as possible if you wish to cancel a booking.

If you have to cancel a place, cancellation charges will apply as below. We regret that we have to do this, however all bookings involve administrative, materials, venue costs etc and it is difficult to fill spaces made vacant by late cancellations.  Cancellation charges depend on when we receive your written/emailed cancellation notice:

  • If cancelled more than 60 days (for SI Module 1, 2/3 or 4) or 40 days (for all other courses) before the course start date we will refund 100% of course fees, less an administration fee of £25

  • If cancelled between 50 and 60 days (for SI Module 1, 2/3 or 4) or 30 and 40 days (for all other courses) before the course start date, we will refund 90% of course fees or credit 90% of the course fee to another course. If the invoice is unpaid at the time of cancellation, you will pay 10% of the fee due.

  • If cancelled between 35 and 50 days (for SI Module 1, 2/3 or 4) or 20 and 30 days (for all other courses) before the course start date, we will refund 50% of course fees or credit 50% of the course fee to another course. If the invoice is unpaid at the time of cancellation, you will pay 50% of the fee due.
  • For bookings cancelled less than 35 days (for SI Module 1, 2/3 or 4) or 20 days (for all other courses) before the course start date or for 'non-attendance’, no refund will be made. If the invoice is unpaid at the time of cancellation, you will still be liable for 100% of the course fee.

5 Non-attendance due to exceptional circumstances

  • Non-attendance at the course due to illness, personal, professional or transport reasons does not give rise to the right to refunds or a transfer.

  • However, in such an event we will consider all the circumstances and take such action that we consider to be fair and reasonable. A minimum fee of £35.00 per day of the course will be charged to cover contracted venue costs plus an additional fee for any course materials specific to that event.  If the invoice is unpaid at the time of cancellation you will still be liable for these charges.

  • Please note that if alternative options are offered there may be an additional charge.

6 Transfer of bookings to other events

You may transfer your booking to another course if your circumstances change, subject to the following rules:

  • For transfer requests received more than 60 days (for SI Module 1, 2/3 or 4) or 40 days (for all other courses) before the course start date, there will be no charge.

  • For transfer requests received between 50 and 60 days (for SI Module 1, 2/3 or 4) or 30 and 40 days (for all other courses) before the course start date, we will transfer the booking for an administration fee of £25.

  • For transfer requests received between 35 and 50 days (for SI Module 1, 2/3 or 4) or 20 and 30 days (for all other courses) before the course start date, we will transfer the booking for an administration fee of 25% of the course fee.
  • For transfer requests received less than 35 days (for SI Module 1, 2/3 or 4) or 20 days (for all other courses) before the course start date, we will transfer the booking for an administration fee of 50% of the course fee.
