NDT and SI
A Hands-On Approach to Maximize Your effectiveness Speakers: Carolyn Murray-Slutsky, OTR, Betty Paris, PT

This three day hands-on workshop will help to expand your treatment options to obtain effective functional results through a holistic, integrated NDT[Bobath]/SI treatment approach!

It is open to Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Speech and Language Therapists only.
Previous experience in NDT/Bobath and/or Sensory Integration is preferred and will be an advantage.

This workshop will give you hands-on experience and practical applications to help break down the barriers between NDT [Bobath]and SI and learn how to combine techniques to achieve results.

Using videos, case studies, and facilitation labs, the presenters will help you identify clients’ base problems and then focus on concrete treatment strategies.

This treatment course addresses strategies for children with Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD), Sensory Integrative disorders, learning disabilities, developmental delays, and a variety of neurological impairments including cerebral palsy. Participants get extensive hands-on opportunities to learn new sensory and motor control based treatment techniques. Functional carryover is emphasized with extensive experientials and training in the specialty areas of improving hand (or foot) function as well as applying techniques into the school system.
