Understanding Sensory Processing Disorders

A 3-day training course on how sensory processing disorders affect:

Attention

Learning

Activities of Daily Living

Who can attend this course?

Teachers, parents, carers and health and social care support workers and therapists.

The aims of the course are

1. to introduce an understanding of sensory processing

2. to discuss strategies that therapists trained in sensory integration may address when working with individuals with sensory processing difficulties, such as poor attention and focus, coordination difficulties and challenging behaviours.

3. to address the needs of those who are supporting the child or young adult with these difficulties, working alongside a suitably qualified therapist.

As we are an educational body, all those attending our courses must be active members of the Network. Please ensure that you are registered with us and that your membership fees of £25 [or €35] are paid before you apply to attend a course.
