We are seeking an experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapist (Band 6/7) to join our multi-disciplinary team. The school is an independent, special needs day provision based in North London, for pupils aged 2 - 16. The nursery department is fully integrated enabling children with and without special needs to learn and play alongside each other. Our pupils have varying difficulties (learning, developmental and physical). We believe that regardless of disability, every child should receive the support they need to reach them potential and enjoy life to the full.
You will have a proven track record in paediatrics and working with children of varying special needs. You must have sensory integration training or a comprehensive understanding of the technique. You will need to be registered with the HPC and the post will require an enhanced CRB check.

We have an opportunity for an experienced part time Occupational Therapist join to the children’s multidisciplinary learning disability team which is based at Oakcroft in Wimborne. This is a bank position while the Occupational Therapy service is under review. The team takes referrals from Bournemouth, Poole and East Dorset. You will join two other OT’s in meeting the therapy needs of children with complex health needs associated with their learning disabilities.
Experience in sensory integration therapy would be advantageous, as the team is developing its capacity to address sensory processing deficits. An interest in autistic spectrum disorders and the application of MOHO, together with the capacity to liaise with occupational therapists within the children’s directorate, linking with CAMHS colleagues would be desirable. Training, supervision and CPD support are provided.

Position will require post holder to work across three provisions across Mitcham, Sutton & Cobham based in Surrey. A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for an innovative and enthusiastic Senior Occupational Therapist, with aspecialismin autism and related disorders. You will take the lead in developing OT services within our three autism specific provisions. This is an advanced post within the Group and forms part of our multi-disciplinary strategic team. The post involves working in partnership with Senior Leads for speech and language therapy and clinical psychology.
You will be based in Sutton at our secondary school, but the post holder will be expected to travel within the local area covering our Nursery based in Cobham and Primary school in Mitcham, both in Surrey (all travel costs will be fully reimbursed). Main responsibilities will include:
