Wanted: Full and part time SI trained, Paediatric Occupational Therapists

The Sensory Smart Child Ltd is a respected Independent practice offering therapy assessment and treatment services to individual families, schools and Education Authorities all over the country. Set up by Karen Holcombe in 2005, The Sensory Smart Child has grown and developed into a well-established practice with national and international links. We pride ourselves on providing high quality individualised treatment programmes to children of all ages, whilst supporting staff in developing their own specialist knowledge and skill set.

We are currently recruiting full and part time SI trained, Paediatric Occupational Therapists to join our busy team of 11 professionals at our specialist practice in Walton on Thames. Successful applicants must demonstrate their passion and dedication for working with children with special needs. As an advanced/specialist clinician you will assess and treat children using a variety of treatment approaches however, post graduate training, including completion of SI Level 1 and SI Level 2 with experience in using a Sensory Integration treatment approach is essential for these roles.

Due to expansion of our practice we are excited to be able to offer a number of full and part time positions, including an Advanced/Specialist:

Role 1: Full Time Therapist - 40 hours per week, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday*
Role 2: Full Time Therapist - 40 hours, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday

Role 3: Part Time Therapist - 30 Hours, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday

We are offering permanent contracts and with competitive rates of pay (with *Saturday working salary incentives), direct supervision, in-house and external training. For the right Therapist we will consider part time and term time only hours.

Wanted: Paediatric Occupational Therapist

For September 2013

The Puzzle Centre is a UK charity, based near Buckingham,  dedicated to providing and  promoting best practice early intervention for young children with communication or autism spectrum disorders.

We wish to appoint an experienced paediatric occupational therapist to contribute their expertise to our friendly multi-diciplinary team.  You will join us at a time of growth and exciting development of our service. We are looking for a skilled practitioner who has a good understanding of the vital part that specialised early intervention plays in increasing the life chances for this vulnerable group of children and their families.

We can offer you a unique opportunity to develop your expertise in the education of very young children with these needs.

The position is part-time, for a minimum of eight days per term.   Puzzle nursery operates for 35 weeks each year , split between three terms.  The Occupational Therapist Therapist will be contracted to work 39 weeks per year following Bucks CC term dates. Salary will be dependent on qualifications and experience and in line with NHS pay bands.  Puzzle offers a generous stakeholder pension scheme.
