Look Out for People at Risk of Having ADHD Diagnosis Missed, says NICE

17 Oct 2017 22:55 | Anonymous

October is ADHD Awareness Month

The theme for this year’s ADHD Awareness Month across Europe is ‘Women and girls with ADHD’. A recent statement by NICE highlighted that females with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder are frequently diagnosed late or not at all. This is because they may not display classic symptoms and, for example, be less disruptive at school, the new draft NICE guidance says.
