Keynote Presentation: The Whole is Greater than the Sum of the Parts.

Sensory Processing, Cognition and Affect. Sensory attachment Intervention. Éadaoin Bhreathnach and Chris West

"All information is sensory. It is how we transform this information and interpret it that influences our clinical practice. Omission of one part leads to a distorted view of the child. If we accept that the child predominantly experiences sensation in the context of the parent child relationship, we need to look at the parent’s contribution to behaviour. This keynote address will look at the component parts of the parent-child relationship and demonstrate the importance of a fully integrative approach to assessment and intervention."
